Four miles from the base of the Rockies, five miles from Boulder, twenty miles north of Denver. Louisville is not a bad place to live. In fact it was voted the 5th best place to live in the US last year in Money Magazine and the best place to raise a family by another national magazine this year. Hanna loves it our here. They welcome her into many shops, there is a nice park 400 yards down the road and the city just built a lake especially for dogs. She may not be blamed for thinking that she is already in doggie haven.
As for us, Ingrid got a house,
garden and greenhouse in move in condition
(except for weeding). I got some gadgets, Solar hot water heating, a
highly efficient Swamp (AKA. Evaporative) Cooler and we both got radiant floor
heating. Location is good for us also with the Louisville Recreation
Center a mile away with a pool and gym, access to a mountain bike/running trail
less than a mile away that takes me all the way to the Rockies and open roads
all around us for road biking. We even have a two discount hardware stores, a supermarket and Sam's Club. For those of you who have
not seen a Sam's Club, or Cosco, they are a giant warehouse store selling
everything in bulk (food, clothes, hardware, electronics) but at very low
prices.
